BRYANT AL: Billy Joe Smith, age 65 passed away, Friday, March 4, 2016. He was a truck driver for Mohawk for 17 years and member of Poplar Springs Baptist Church.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Elisha and Kathryn McBryar Smith; grandparents, Elisha and Ida Robinson Smith and Nolan “Doed” and Dot McBryar and brother, Tommy Smith.
He is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Ann Walker Smith; son and daughter in law, Keith and Lori Smith, grandsons, Warren and Ryan Smith, Trenton, Georgia; sister Kathy Gilliam, Bryant, Alabama; brother Charles Smith, Dalton, Georgia; and several nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
Funeral services will be held 3:00 PM EST Sunday, March 6, 2016 in the Bryant Chapel of Moore Funeral Home with Brother Jimmy Hixon officiating.
Visitation will be held Saturday 5:00 PM ~ 8:00 PM
Sunday 12:00 PM ~ 3:00 PM
