TRENTON GA: Bettye Jean Summerford, age 80, a loving wife, mother and grandmother passed away, Friday, March 04, 2016. She was a member of New England Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Steven and Martha Derryberry; sister, Cloia Mae Gearrin; brothers, Johnny Crumley and George Crumley.
She is survived by her husband Howard Summerford; sons and daughter in laws, Steve and Sherry Combs and Paul and Cheryl Summerford; sister, Martha Goodwin; five grandchildren, Kyle and Kasay Combs, Alicia Smith, Jimmy and Dawayne Goins; eleven great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Sunday, March 6, 2016 in the Chapel of Moore Funeral Home with Brother Alan Flowers and Reverend Jerry Atkins officiating. Burial will be held in Sarah’s Chapel Cemetery.
Visitation will be held Saturday 4:00 PM ~ 8:00 PM
Sunday 12:00 PM ~ 2:00 PM
