BETTY DELORIES WOODALL HARRIS
Betty (Mommy Dee) Harris, age 83, of Head River, GA. went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, March 11, 2021. She was a member of Head River Baptist Church.
Mommy Dee was born in Sylvania, AL., the youngest of eight siblings, to William and Martha Woodall. She will be remembered for her smile and the ray of sunshine she brought to everyone. And by the time you left her you would be calling her your Mommy Dee also. One of her favorite things to do was go thrifting with her two daughters, Betty and Beverly. They were known as the 3 Musketeers.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Davis Eugene Harris; parents William and Martha Woodall; grandson Jeremy Harris; five sisters and two brothers.
She is survived by her four children, Rickey (Diane) Harris, Betty Forester, Ronnie (Tina) Harris, Beverly (Greg) Daniels, ten grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, several nieces, nephews, and a host of family and friends.
Graveside services will be held at 1:00 PM EDT Saturday, March 27, 2021 at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church with Reverend Tim Turnipseed officiating. Pallbearers will be Dale Daniels, Heath Daniels, Brody Daniels, Kevin Harris, Joshua Franklin, and Mitchell Harris.
