RISING FAWN, GA: Betty Jean Gant, age 75 passed away, Sunday, February 24, 2013. She was retired from Shaw Industries after 30 years of employment and was of the Church of God Faith. She was a loving mother and grandmother who loved spending time with her family.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Glen Gant; daughter, Tracy Gass; parents, Pete and Hattie Mae Williams and brother, Johnny Williams.
Survivors include her daughters, Deborah Williamson, Kathy Clure and Janice Gant; step sons, Stephen Gant and Jason Gant; sisters, Edna Ray and Cindy Howell; brothers, Norman Williams; six grandchildren, Melissa Williamson, Joshua Williamson, Heather Williamson, Brandy Clure, Lacie Keith and Christopher Gant; six great grandchildren; Colby, Gavin, Eian, Nathan, Laiton and Isaac; several nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
Funeral services will be held 4:00 PM EDT Tuesday, February 26, 2013 in the Chapel of Moore Funeral Home with Reverend Chris Hagler officiating. Visitation will be held Tuesday 10:00 AM ~ 4:00 PM EDT
