Betty Frances Christopher

Betty Frances "MeMaw" Christopher, age 90, of Trenton, GA, peacefully passed away on Saturday, March 16, 2024.

A funeral service honoring Betty’s life will take place on Tuesday, March 19, 2024 at 1:00 PM in the Trenton Chapel of Moore Funeral Home. She will be laid to rest at Payne Cemetery.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects on Monday from 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM and on Tuesday from 11:00 AM until the start of the service.

Born on August 29, 1933, Betty was the youngest of nine children born to the late Dolph and Dovie Allison King.  Betty's greatest love was her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She found joy in activities like shopping and traveling, and she cherished her faith as a dedicated member of Calvary Baptist Church.

She is survived by her son, David Christopher; grandchildren, Amity “Amy” (Zachery) Cordell, Michael (Brandy) Christopher, and Meredith Sackett; as well as her great-grandchildren, Damian, Taylor, and Ariana Sackett, Lillian Cordell, and Aiden Christopher.

In addition to her parents and siblings, Betty was preceded in death by her husband, James Loyd Christopher.
