BERNICE BYNUM
BRYANT, AL, Annie Bernice Reece Bynum, age 73, passed away Thursday, February 21, 2013, peacefully at home, surrounded by her loving family. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, who enjoyed working in her flower gardens, canning, and spending time with her grandchildren. Mrs. Bynum was a member of Floral Crest Seventh Day Adventist Church and was retired from Bank of Dade after 21 years of employment.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Grady Wyatt and Ruby Ree Moore Reece; her brothers, Arlon Wyatt and Bill Carlton Reece.
Survivors include her loving husband of 51 years Charles Wilson Bynum; son and daughter-in-law, Robin and Tammy Bynum of Bryant, AL.; and her daughter and son-in-law, Lisa Bynum and Phil Strok of Newport Coast, CA.; sister Willow Dean Shavers; grandchildren, Brett Bynum, Brandon Bynum, Briley Bynum and Matthew Strok; nieces and nephews; and a host of friends.
Funeral services will be held 2:00pm EST Sunday, February 24, 2013, in the Chapel of Moore Funeral Home in Bryant, AL. with Pastor Carlis Clinton officiating. Interment will be held in Oak Lawn Memorial Park.
Visitation will be Saturday, 3PM ~ 8PM, and Sunday 12~ 2PM.
